Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: One Hour Airport Transfer From Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha City

As soon as you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Victorious Vacation professional safari guide will be there to take you to your accommodation in Arusha. Arusha City, nestled between Kilimanjaro and Meru, is the jumping-off point for a safari into the African bush and the gateway to Tanzania's Northern Circuit of national parks.

Head out to see the sights and sounds of Arusha's local culture.

There are popular coffee tours for those interested in learning more about the cultivation, harvesting, drying, and roasting of coffee beans to create a wide variety of blends that are exported and enjoyed around the world. This activity is available for an additional fee and is suitable for those who are serious coffee drinkers.

Meals Included: Dinner

Day 2: Safari game drive to Lake Manyara National Park and Mto wa Mbu Village walk

Following a filling breakfast, your tour guide picks you up and drives you to Lake Manyara. Despite being one of Tanzania's smaller parks, Lake Manyara National Park has one of the greatest biomass densities of large mammals in the world due to its diversified vegetation, which includes grassland, marsh, and evergreen forest. Expect to witness numerous elephant families, countless flamingos, and even lions that can scale trees.

Keep an eye out for the baboons in this park, which can form groups with up to 200 individuals.

After Lake Manyara game viewing, you will proceed for a cultural tour at Mto wa Mbu village. Get an inside look at the homes and exquisite crafts of Mto wa Mbu’s many tribes. Visitors will meet locals and learn about banana beer, Makonde wood carvings, and tribal painting techniques; the village provides a great introduction to everyday life in Africa.

After an active day, drive to your accommodation in Ngorongoro.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3 and 4: Immerse yourself in the Serengeti.

In the wee hours of the morning, we embarked on a long day of game viewing in the Serengeti. This enormous park is home to various animals, from small herbivores to giant carnivores such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy dinner at the lodge where you are staying. Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park while enjoying a great meal.

Your guide will return you to your lodge within the national park after an exciting day in the wilderness, just in time for a delicious meal.

Gather 'round the fire and tell tales of your wildlife adventures throughout the day.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5: Take one more moment to cherish the beauty of the Serengeti before making the journey to Ngorongoro.

You leave with your lunch for one more morning wildlife drive in the Serengeti after an early breakfast. Early dawn is frequently the greatest time to witness the excitement of the pursuit because few predators hunt during the heat of the day. Before we make the three-hour transfer to Ngorongoro Crater, take advantage of your final few moments in the Serengeti National Park.

Arrive at your lodging in Ngorongoro and get comfortable in your new environment, and then enjoy a delicious meal while gazing at the same breathtaking panorama.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 6: Descend to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing, then proceed to Tarangire.

Enjoy the sunrise over the crater before setting off on a day tour to see the unique wildlife within the crater's safety zone. The Big Five assembled here, and the crater walls make a beautiful backdrop.

After a day of sightseeing, you will be taken to your Tarangire National Park lodging at the end of the day.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 7: Safari game drive in Tarangire, before transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

End your safari with a game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is in the Manyara Region of Tanzania. The Tarangire River provides most of the park's fresh water, making wildlife sightings more likely as the animals congregate near the river. Warm, sunny days are perfect for viewing Tanzania's diverse wildlife, such as a herd of 300 elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elands, and buffalo.

After lunch, depending on your domestic flight time, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at the Zanzibar Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your reserved accommodation.

When you get to the hotel, it's time to say "Hakuna Matata," which means "no worries," so kick back, get settled in, and take in the splendour of your new surroundings.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8 to 11: Relaxing on Zanzibar's pristine beach

You can spend your days lounging by the pool at your hotel or venturing out to discover the old area of Stonetown, where you can get lost in the maze of narrow alleyways and centuries of history.

Due to its status as one of the few locations globally where saffron is harvested, Zanzibar is commonly referred to as Spice Island. The island is also home to a wealth of cultural traditions. Be sure to take a tour of one of the local spice farms here to learn about this highly sought-after spice that is worth more than its weight in gold and to try some of the delectable exotic fruit that is cultivated here.

During your visit to this area, we strongly advise that you go on a dolphin tour, during which you will set sail at the end of the day to see pods of dolphins leap over the water and swim beside your boat.

Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 12: Return to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home.

Following a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, our driver will take you to Zanzibar International Airport, where we will bid you farewell.
